The Foundation for a Resilient Montpelier is a new, action-oriented organization established to create a healthy and resilient city through facilitating democratic engagement, supporting community-led initiatives, and gathering and distributing resources. A New Day for Montpelier
Share your ideas for a vibrant downtown, a resilient community, and a strong civic culture here.
Thank you to all who came out to our public forum - A New Day for Montpelier - on April 30. In case you missed it, view the forum using the links to the right. And you can read a write-up from The Bridge here.
There’s more to come! Detailed notes were taken in each of the breakout sessions. We’ll be analyzing all of the ideas from each of those sessions to look for common themes. Then, we’ll pose the question - is this action idea already being carried out and if so, by whom?
Stay tuned for details about an early June forum to keep Montpelier moving forward. We will come back together to review the ideas for Montpelier’s future and choose some priorities for future action.
